There is nothing quite like a composer's view on the way about can sound and express music. Polish composer Pawel Sydor composed "Virtutti Militari" and dedicated it to Alex Klein (this work was recorded for Cedille Records). During the same period of composing this oboe concerto he also wrote the enclosed virtuosic cadenzas for an April 11, 1991 performances of the Mozart Oboe Concerto at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music featuring Alex Klein as soloist and John Knight leading the Oberlin Wind Ensemble.
